| Bio: | I'm Mariessa also known as Reesie.
I was a French major with a certificate in Medieval studies. I just graduated with a Master of Arts in Library and Information Studies at UW-Madison with a am specializing in Archives and Records Management Administration. I currently have a part time job at the Wisconsin Historical Society while I job hunt for a full time position.
My various hobbies are swollowed up by the Society for Creative Anachronism and the source of my screen name. I love historical research, singing madrigals, foolery and performance, embroidery and a whole host of other Renaissance and Medieval related things.
Alienor Hathaway is currently living in 1565.
My modern hobbies includes immersing myself in my latest interests. At the moment I'm hoping to create a web page eventually. I like to read (especially Historical Fiction, History-Non Fiction and books related to Archives), I write poetry and some short stories and I am never been bored. In Spring 2008 I am going to Paris with the Print Culture Society for a trip to remember. |
